We’re closing out the summer by launching key improvements to ProMonitoring’s digital experience. These features were originally requested by providers and will help streamline treatment planning and ProMonitoring tasks. We're looking forward to seeing how these new features benefit our providers and their teams as we roll them out over the next several weeks.

More monitoring control in fewer clicks
Our Doctor Portal now includes key monitoring data and actions that help ProMonitoring providers quickly assess vital tracking data and perform common actions without having to navigate to the Monitoring Portal.
This improvement gives providers a comprehensive “at-a-glance” view of how all of their ProMonitoring cases are progressing, helping them efficiently triage monitoring tasks and easily spot cases in need of additional oversight.
Here’s what monitoring data and actions providers can now see and perform in their Doctor Portal:
Data integrations:
- Current aligner stage
- Estimated treatment end
- Next scan date
- Results of the patient’s last scan “Go” or “No Go”
- Aligner wear and scan schedule
Control integrations:
- Change the aligner stage
- Change next scan date
- Start or stop monitoring
- Change the patient’s wear and scan schedule
A note on wear schedules from Dr. Ed Shaheen, Director of Orthodontics
We’re thrilled to give our providers the flexibility to change patient wear schedules from their Doctor Portals. As the treating doctor, you’re free to leverage wear schedules that meet the needs of your patients.
However, we recommend a 7-day or 14-day wear schedule to create scheduling consistency and allow sufficient time for bone remodeling.

More treatment plan information with less scrolling
We’ve thoughtfully condensed the treatment plan viewer to help providers see more information on one screen. That means providers can review orthodontist notes, compare treatment plan versions, and provide revision requests without scrolling.
This updated screen layout has been field tested for ease of use and readability. Ultimately, this improvement will help doctors navigate the treatment planning process more efficiently and confidently.
More fluid version acceptance
Also new to the treatment plan viewer is an improved way to accept old treatment plan versions. In the past, accepting an old version of a treatment plan required an additional request.
In an effort to shorten the time between case acceptance and delivery, our team quickly implemented this feature. Now, providers can send an older treatment plan version for immediate approval in just a few clicks—no wait time required.
Building a clear aligner system that meets our providers’ needs
We understand that general dentists need to work efficiently to make clear aligner therapy a profitable endeavor for their practice. Every second spent reviewing patient progress and tweaking treatment plans counts!
We’re confident that these two feature improvements will allow our providers to streamline their digital workflows even more, and we’re proud to share them with our ProMonitoring doctors soon.
